Food we really enjoyed in Japan (Part 5)

Curry! Our new Japanese friend Miyuki, from our Nagomi Visit, put us on to this one (in fact we have been enjoying chatting with Miyuki by email as we travel around Japan). She told us about curry in packets from the supa and even emailed  us the kanji translation to help our shopping.


After a bit of a search we found it in the supa and got a rough idea on how to cook from pictures on the packet.


We browned some meat (have made with pork and chicken now) and vegetables then added water and curry cubes from pack, stirred and heated it all up for awhile (maybe 10 min). This makes a sticky curry sauce for the meat and vegetables.  Great on rice. 


Totemo oishii desu yo!
