There is a wide range of sweet baked breads available in Japan, but you can't really go past Melon Pan - either plain or choc chip is delicious.....
However a little food stall we found on Miyajima Island took it to a whole other level of deliciousness with their Melon Pan Ice. A fresh baked melon pan filled with vanilla ice cream and cookie.
